Description

We are looking for a Product Delivery Manager to ensure the success of product delivery projects, coach the product delivery team, and own strategic initiatives. You will help to guide the cross-functional product team and mentor the growth of each individual, build on the processes followed, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality output for internal and external projects. You will take on ownership of leading our product and project management processes, helping to drive innovation and improvements, and contribute to the organizations bar of quality. You will be heavily involved in the pitching and onboarding of projects, helping to shape clients visions when they first engage with CodeLink and then guiding the onboarding phase to ensure projects are set up for success.

Primary Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Product Delivery Manager will be to ensure success throughout the product delivery teams, both during the onboarding of a new client and in the ongoing delivery for existing clients.

Project Inception Success:

• Pitch for Product: Work with the accounts team to help shape the product vision for clients during the pitching process, ensuring they have the right foundation to begin the project.
• Project Onboarding: Work with teams during the first 4-6 weeks of a project to ensure high customer satisfaction, impactful first product releases, smooth processes, and successful projects.

Project Guidance:

• Oversee Projects: Engage with product owners to ensure reliable execution and delivery for project deliverables adhering to customer requirements for client projects and defined internal goals for internal r&d projects.
• Client Collaboration: Work with external business developers and clients to understand their product team requirements.

Leadership and Mentoring:

• Product Team Leadership: Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, developers, content creators, and product owners to ensure a highly functional product team.
• Set and Manage KPIs: Work with product team members to help them set and reach KPI goals.
• Member Growth: Identify and build key capabilities for each member to ensure proper development of each individual.

Secondary Responsibilities:

The secondary responsibility of the Product Delivery Manager will be to build on product and project processes, contribute to company development in alignment with the long-term strategy, help to hire and scale teams and collaborate with external partners for any product-related requirements and proposals.

High-level Strategy:

• Strategy: Work with the upper management team to create strategic plans and then own the completion of your quarterly initiative goals.
• Initiatives: Own strategic initiatives that build into the growth of the company.

Processes:

• Improve Processes: Develop and improve product delivery team processes to scale through automation, process improvements, or other productivity measures while maintaining high-quality standards, including tools evaluation, adoption, and best practices
• SOP Standardization: Creating SOP and work processes to make the product operations both systematic and methodic.

Scale and Growth:

• Scale Teams: Understand product team talent needs and work with the HR team to onboard the right members both from internal teams and through external hiring outreach, helping to review, interview, and place new hires.
• Partner Collaboration: Work with external coaching partners to plan different approaches to engaging and training the team through coaching.

Requirements

Experience

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in a product delivery and team management role (or equivalent)
• 4+ years of leadership experience in leading cross-functional product teams.
• Experience with agile software development.
• Experience collaborating with product development and design teams to understand their project requirements and deliver products with a focus on quality.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and guiding team members to achieve personal goals.
• Experience engaging with some stages of the project pitching process.
• Fluent English on all levels; reading, writing, speaking, listening.
