We are seeking a motivated Senior Java Developer to join MTI Technology Vietnam. You will be involved in all phases of the product development cycle including requirements analysis, conceptual design, project estimation, detailed design, software construction, and deployment. Moreover, you will facilitate and lead the core development process and ensure proper interaction with existing or new technology. 

You are either an experienced Senior/Lead Java Developer with solid technical capability who wants to take it up a notch in your professional career and is eager for new challenges. You are expected to provide technical solutions and leadership as well as mentorship for your project and team members. 

In addition, you will be a proven team player, an independent thinker, and have a collaborative attitude towards your work and colleagues.

This position is coached by the Head of Technical Architect to become Technical Architect in the next months.

Your Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for Development & Testing focused on developing technical backlog (more critical functionalities and architecture mechanisms). 
2. Responsible for Technical Grooming & Design with good practices as well as processes. 
3. Responsible for Quality Assurance with good processes, practices, and analysis tools. 
4. Effectively answers technical questions and trains professionals of his/her team on their day-to-day project tasks on a timely basis for each individual case. 
5. Responsible for Non-Functional Requirements (e.g. Performance, Security, Reliability, Maintainability...) 
6. Clearly communicates architectural standards to his/her team. 
7. Assist leaders in defining a Technical Backlog.

Who we are looking for: 

1. 5+ years of experience and great knowledge of fundamental frameworks forJava 
2. Good experience in working with at least one cloud platform (Azure or AWS or GCP).
3. Good knowledge of Non-Functional Requirements (e.g. Security, Performance, Scalability…). Be able to identify, treat, interpret and come up with conclusions about the Non-Functional Requirements of a project.
4. Good understanding of Database and Query Performance Tuning.
5. Good knowledge of architecture standards and solutions for his/her base technology platform, including reference architectures, and integration models/architectures (Clean Architecture, Micro-services, DDD…).
6. Good knowledge of Quality Assurance and Development & Testing (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing).
7. Good experience in engineering practices (CI/CD)
8. Strong problem-solving skills.
9. Understands and expresses himself/herself in English freely, fluently, and accurately, and can infer information from what has been spoken or written in more complex situations.
10. Be able to demonstrate calmness and self-control even in adverse situations.
11. Good training skills can give/apply efficient and effective training processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps
• Knowledge of Container/Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks Vue.js, React.js
• Familiar with working in an Agile environment
