The Database administrator role must keep the database up and running smoothly, providing both back-end and front-end data structure accessibility for end-users. Besides, the Database administrator works on implementing new database platforms and migrating databases from on-premises to cloud database services.
Your tasks:
- Proven working experience as a Database administrator (Oracle, MySQL, SQL) for on-premises and cloud database services.
- Design and implement database architecture in accordance with end-user information, needs, and views
- Build database systems
- Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in the appropriate format and timely manner
- Perform database auditing, optimizing the performance of Database systems.
- Perform operational DBA duties in a complex environment (patching, environment cloning, database cloning, database upgrades, application upgrades, implementing backup and monitoring procedures)
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures, and standards
- Perform regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity

Our activities:

- 5+ years of experience in managing Database systems in Oracle (11g/12c~19c), and PL/SQL Development
- Database upgrade and migration experience
- Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, and integrity
- Familiar with database design, documentation, coding; Troubleshooting, Monitoring, and HA solution operation
- Database assessment, planning and execute migration databases to cloud database services
- Good knowledge of operating system management
- Ability to analyze queries and improvement/ optimize the performance of Database systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with Mysql
- Understanding ETL (Datastage, Terastream/....)
