The Position

We are looking for a senior software engineer who will lead a team that focuses on extending and maintaining a unique, exciting secure network access solution. You will have a strong software engineering background and apply your skills to help deliver this solution in the cloud and as a virtual gateway appliance for on-premises or cloud deployment.  

What You Will be Doing

• Implement new capabilities and extend existing capabilities, and where needed, troubleshoot, and maintain existing features.
• Collaborate with other engineers within the team, and across team boundaries working with the same product platform.
• Working with the team lead and architect, ensure the architecture and design follow best practices to ensure a solid base as the product evolves.
• Collaborate where needed with the quality assurance team and customer-facing teams like support.
• Keep up to date with modern development technologies and methodologies.
• Provide training and documentation input on new features you help create.

What We Need from You 

• 4+ years’ experience developing within the AWS environment.
• Experience with a range of AWS technologies, such as Container Services, Lambda, and DynamoDB
• Experience with full-stack development and microservice structures
• Experience with TypeScript / Angular
• Experience using, creating, and maintaining REST APIs
• Software Design experience
• Experience with agile development, rapid release cycles, and implementing customer-oriented solutions.
• Experience with Git, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity (or the equivalent)

It Would be Nice if You Had

• Network socket level coding experience, and an understanding of TCP/IP
• Experience developing on multiple platforms (e.g.: Linux, Windows, mobile)
• Reasonable understanding of OWASP Top 10, common vulnerabilities and exploitations.
• Pre-intermediate / intermediate English Level.
