Avantility is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software QA/QC Engineer to join our team. As a Software QA/QC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our projects through testing and analysis. You will collaborate closely with our development and project teams to understand requirements, develop test strategies, execute tests, and provide feedback for improvement. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality assurance, possesses strong analytical, problem-solving skills and has good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the development and project teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure project quality and functionality.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify and document software defects, track issues, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform database testing to verify data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper deployment and configuration of software applications.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Collaborate with the customer support team to understand customer issues and provide effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with customers, project stakeholders, and team members to address inquiries and provide status updates.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing for various and/or mobile/desktop/web applications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software QA/QC Engineer or similar role, focusing on software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing.
• Familiarity with SharePoint application.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork and communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Experience in automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser compatibility testing.
