Role Summary

• MODEC is a part of the Mitsui Group, with 5000+ employees from 25 countries. You will join the Digital and Analytics global team that was launched in 2021.
• You will be a core member to drive a large-scale Digital Transformation effort at an industry-leading company running billion-dollar projects.
• We accommodate remote working arrangement. You are welcome to work at our offices at HCM City or Vung Tau as well. 
• Your primary responsibility will be to work on interactive 3D engineering simulations (similar to games) to support our engineers. You will also be tasked to develop the pipeline to simplify and setup 3D models.
• You might have the opportunity to contribute on other areas of our diverse projects, such as enterprise applications, DevOps and other software initiatives. This role is ideal for a versatile developer who loves tackling a variety of software challenges.
• You could gain additional exposure to engineering simulations, IOT, digital twin and data science concepts including artificial intelligence and data engineering You won’t have to feel bored working on the same problems every day! 

Responsibilities 

• Write clean, high‐quality, maintainable code with best development practices. 
• Coordinate with cross‐functional teams (Product, UI/UX, Data Science etc.) to understand product requirements and translate them into technical requirements. 
• Contribute to the design of a robust, scalable and secure architecture to support multiple software development initiatives. 
• Participate in development activities including design and code review, software testing and debugging. 
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues from applications in production. 
• Identify dependencies or risks against requirements and suggest solutions to the team. 
• Good understanding of software technology and architecture. Able to communicate trade‐offs and recommend appropriate technological priorities

• Monthly wage: USD2,500‐4000

Requirement

• 3-8 years of professional software development experience 
• Strong experience in at least in one of the following C# programming, Unity, Python  
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of 3D spatial concepts and the ability to think in 3D. 
• Previous professional experience in 3D programming is desirable but not essential. We encourage applicants who demonstrate a strong interest in 3D programming to apply. 
• Well-versed in working within the agile environment 
• Strong analytical and creative problem‐solving skills 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English 
• Capable of thinking out of the box and excited about trying new solutions, willing to challenge status quo 

Nice to have

• Start‐up experience. 
• Familiarity with Oil and Gas or Engineering industries.
