Responsibilities

Operation tasks:

• Provide first-level support for on-cloud products.
• Participate in planning, and upgrading software versions (planned deployments).
• Resolve technical issues reported by customers or product requirements.
• Monitor the systems closely to detect problems early and follow the customers’ issue handling procedure.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and collaborate to find out the root cause.
• Research and develop foundational platform engineering solutions for process automation.

Development tasks:

• Collaborate with the team to build solutions to resolve pain points related to products (improving performance, fixing bugs, patching Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, improving existing stacks related to monitoring, logging, orchestration, review resource cost etc.).
• Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery flows.
• Build and maintain dev/test environments in multiple cloud providers from scratch.
• Participate in system design, testing and evaluating new technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Windows OS.
• Familiarity with one of scripting languages like Bash, Python, Golang…
• Understanding of network topologies and common network protocols and services.
• Knowledge of basic statistical mathematics to understand and build monitoring and alerting systems.
• Desire to work in an information systems environment, eager to learn and improve your skills.
• Ability to think creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Strong ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with customers, vendors and partners, and across all levels of the organization.
• Logical, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bonus points: Experience in the following technologies is relevant
  • Version control systems: GitHub, GitLab
  • CI/CD tools: : GitHub Action, Argo CD, Helm, or similar
  • Automation/configuration management: Terraform, Ansible, Vault or similar
  • Message queues:  RabbitMQ, Kafka, Pub/Sub
  • Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad or similar
  • Cloud: Google Cloud, AWS, Azure
