We are looking for an Agile Coach that serves as a servant leader and as an Agile evangelist that provides connections, insights and inspiration that are most important for our customers, our people and to our community.  The Agile Coach will provide training and coaching to build team’s business agility and maturity, helping us achieve business outcomes aligned with One Mount Success Culture and as a strong advocate of the “I am the Builder. We are the Builder”.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Shape, deliver, and/or connect with various stakeholders on providing training and workshops on agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SaFe Framework) and practices (e.g., conducting daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog management).
  • Assess and enhance team (including scrum masters , product owners, internal development team) business agility and maturity by developing coaching plans and conducting maturity assessments
  • Establish and ensure effective and efficient adoption of standards, ceremonies, and best practices for agile ways of working (WoW)
  • Evaluate and recommend agile software engineering practices to the team 
  • Adhere to the Agile Software Development Manifesto and Agile SAFe principles
  • Participate in the identification, collection, and reporting of agile practice metrics and measurements to track progress that provides business outcomes , accelerated flow and develop people competencies.  
  • Assist with establishing communities of practice and contribute to the enrichment and adoption of “I am the Builder. We are the Builder” and Success culture and competencies.

  • 13-month salary with annual performance bonus, project incentives, sales incentives (based on position)

Your skills and experience

Technical competencies

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology or related fields
  • Certified Scrum Master with at least 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent software delivery role (planning, execution and team management), preferably as a practitioner in the context of Software Engineering
  • Working knowledge and coaching team on Scrum, XP and Kanban 
  • Familiar with INVEST stories and strive to slice user stories using Design thinking principles
  • Familiar with RTS (Running-Tested-Stories), Velocity, Backlog Grooming, Forecasting, ROI/IRR, and Burndown or burn up chart.
  • Excellent knowledge of scaling framework such as SAFe, artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement, hypothesis testing) and agile delivery tools (JIRA, Confluence)

Functional competencies

  • Actual experience in  coaching or mentoring individuals and teams that progressively elevate team’s Agile maturity
  • Actual experience on facilitating Agile training or conducting design thinking workshop session
  • Actual experience in developing Agile framework tailored to a specific context or based on team’s maturity level
  • Track metrics and use them to make data-driven decisions that progressively contribute towards business agility, acceleration of flow and people competencies development. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills that can be applied to resolve complex business and technical challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change and resolve conflict at the leadership and team level
  • Open-minded, can-do attitude with a high degree of stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manner and be extremely proactive even in an ambiguous environment. 
  • Desire to grow and take on your own innovative project(s).
