Job description
The Data Engineer is a role within the Central Vietnam IT Department involving multiple disciplines. They include:
• Designing and developing data models.
• Designing and developing ETL/ELT tasks.
• Supporting the Data Analyst to build visualizations for business users.
• Testing and providing technical support of built solutions.
• Integration between onsite and cloud data warehouses
• Document data sources and data warehouse access leve

Your skills and experience
Technical
• Advanced SQL knowledge is mandatory.
• Advanced DW modeling skills.
• Good knowledge of procedural code development.
• Central Retail use the following platforms, any specific knowledge or experience of these systems will be highly regarded
o Oracle Data Warehouse
o Big Query
o Atlassian JIRA and Confluence (Agile, general support and documentation)
o General knowledge of any of the following will also be highly regarded:
o GCP platform
o Salesforce Marketing Cloud
o MS SQL Server, MySQL
o Microsoft Dynamics
o Oracle DB o Python, PowerShell, other scripting languages
o Predictive Analytics
Qualifications/ Memberships:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.
• 2+ years previous Managed Big Scale system in variate platform
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in database development, integration and administration
Experience:
• Strong experience in Database Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
• Good experience in SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, NoSQL…
• Demonstrated in IT Service Management functions, including but not limited to Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Service Requests and Outage Response/Resolution
• Have an extremely positive/cheerful 'can-do' attitude
• Good team player, proactive character and able to multitask.
