In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain Perl-based web applications, scripts, and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Perl code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of applications.
• Work on database integration and data manipulation using Perl.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Perl trends and best practices.
• Contribute to the improvement of coding standards and development processes.

• Proven experience as a Perl Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Perl programming language.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with Perl web frameworks (e.g., Dancer, Mojolicious).
• Previous work on data analysis and manipulation using Perl.
• Contributions to open-source Perl projects or a strong GitHub profile.
