For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for a Database Developer (C#). As such, you always will be working with the latest proven technologies in a state of the art office with an open environment.

Our client is an international IT outsourcing company, based in the Netherlands with a main office located in Ho Chi Minh City and a branch office in Hanoi. Their managed services provide businesses with the IT foundations you need to run your business, plus a Support Manager and experienced team of Support Engineers on hand whenever you need them. Their IT managed services team and support team have many years of experience in rapidly resolving customer issues and ensuring that problems are given long term solutions rather than short-term fixes. They offer remote technical support and onsite support across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

As a Database Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of data and applications from legacy systems to modern platforms. Your expertise in SQL databases, PowerShell, C#, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office 365 will be essential for successful migrations. Specifically, you’ll focus on migrating legal case management systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance. As a Migration Engineer, you will be in charge of the following details:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration plans for legal case management solutions.
• Execute the physical setup of workstations in the new environment.
• Organize and sustain SharePoint sites for migration tracking and team issue resolution.
• Develop migration and integration SQL code for client enforcement, upgrades, and requests.
• Ensure seamless migration of legal case data, documents, and workflows.
• Work closely with legal teams to understand specific requirements and constraints.
• Troubleshoot migration-related issues, including data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement PowerShell scripts for automated server deployment and configuration.
• Coordinate OneDrive and Office 365 migrations, ensuring data security and access controls.
• Collaborate with IT teams to establish domain connectivity and authentication mechanisms.
• Monitor migration progress, perform testing, and validate data accuracy post-migration.
• Provide technical support during the transition phase and address user inquiries.

Must have

• At least 2 years working with MS SQL: Proficiency in writing SQL queries, data extraction, and transformation.
• At least a year working with PowerShell: Experience automating server tasks and deployment using PowerShell.
• At least a year working with C#: Familiarity with C# for custom application development and integration.
• SharePoint: Knowledge of SharePoint architecture, site administration, and customization.
• OneDrive and Office 365: Understanding of cloud-based collaboration tools and data migration.
• Legal Case Management Systems: Prior experience with legal-specific systems is highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex migration issues.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical Thinking: Capacity to analyze requirements and devise efficient migration strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.

Nice to have (not mandatory): Window Form, Azure Services and Power Apps/Automate.
