• FPT Software, a leading company in the IT services sector in Vietnam, is expanding its team by recruiting a Platform Engineering Director with capability and vision. This position requires a leader who not only guides but also designs the overall architecture for Platform Engineering, develops it, and implements the Platform for thousands of projects within the company. The ultimate goal is to boost productivity and efficiency for the company’s projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and design a Platform Engineering Architect for the whole company.
• Build up and lead the Platform Engineering team.
• Implement the Platform Engineering, operation and monitoring
• Train and guide IT service project teams, offering a comprehensive understanding of the platform’s purpose, features, benefits, and navigation.
• Develop projects from small enhancements to large-scale platform development, fostering an environment of collaboration and quality.
• Employ a structured approach to troubleshooting platform issues, including assessment, stakeholder engagement, and systematic problem resolution.

• Extensive experience in directing platform engineering teams, with a strong understanding of various software platforms including web, mobile, desktop, and cloud-based platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, including effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable solutions, with a track record of managing large-scale projects involving multiple teams.
• Familiarity with cloud computing models and strategic implementation of cloud computing strategies.
• Deep knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, and Ruby.
• Strong experience in CI/CD DevOps.
• Experience in managing large teams of engineers, demonstrating the ability to efficiently coordinate projects and ensure team productivity.
