THE POSITION

Review & Analysis 

• Participate in reviewing and analyzing the requirement to understand test objectives 
• Provide input on the testability of requirements and estimation for the testing activities. 

Test plans 

• Create test plans, test cases, manual/automated test scripts and performance tests. 
• Executing manual/automated test plans. 

Defect identification 

• Testing & Participating in functional testing, regression testing and performance testing.  
• Identifying bugs, issues, risks, and bottlenecks within the application. 
• Other related duties as needed or assigned by the management.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology. 

Experience: 

• 5 years+ software testing 
• Experience working with overseas clients or colleagues is a must 
• Good command of English

Professional knowledge:

• Have a passion for software testing and finding bugs in software before deployment. 
• Strong analytical skills and ability to portray information in a logical and well-organized manner. 
• Proven record of developing strong, positive relationships with the software development team, especially developers and business analysts. 
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the client solution and deliverables. 

Functional Skills

• Understanding and experience with full testing lifecycle management; 
• Experience in a Business Analyst or QA role for web applications is a plus; 
• Experience with Agile Project Management; namely Scrum is a plus; 
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is a plus.
