As a Machine Learning Engineer at Ahamove, you will be at the core of our data-driven innovation. You will research, build, and deploy AI/ML models that directly impact our business operations, from optimizing our logistics network to enhancing driver and user experiences. We are looking for an autonomous and product-minded engineer who can translate complex business needs into robust, scalable ML solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

Research, Build, and Deploy Core ML Models 

• Dynamic Pricing Models: Take ownership of our dynamic pricing initiatives. Move beyond our current rules-based methods by designing and training sophisticated classification models to optimize surge pricing for our bike (instant & pooling) and truck services.
• Recommendation Systems: Develop and scale our order-driver matching models across multiple cities to increase acceptance rates and improve network efficiency.
• Agentic AI Systems: Design and implement intelligent agents for critical business functions, including outlier detection, automated business reporting for leadership, trend forecasting, and fraud/cheating detection.

Develop and Scale Computer Vision Solutions

• Build and improve a suite of computer vision models for operational automation, including proof-of-work classifications (delivery, cancellation, pickup) and driver validation (face, uniform).
• Explore and implement solutions for vehicle validation (license plates, decals, odometers).

Research and Application of New Technologies

• Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and LLMs to enhance the performance of our models and the efficiency of your workflow.
• Proactively identify and champion new open-source technologies or methodologies that can be applied to solve Ahamove's unique challenges.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer, with a proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models into a production environment.
• Strong Autonomy & Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to take a business problem, translate it into a machine learning task, and autonomously drive the project from analysis to a deployed solution.
• Core Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL is a must.
  • Deep understanding of ML fundamentals, including classification (binary, clustering) and regression (forecasting), along with the metrics to train, validate, and evaluate models.
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks and a strong background in Computer Vision (CV) and/or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Preferred Experience:
  • Experience designing and building agentic AI systems or multi-agent architectures.
  • Experience with recommendation or matching systems.
  • Familiarity with building and managing data models on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS).
  • Experience with large-scale data processing using tools like Spark.
  • Solid understanding of A/B testing principles.
