Overview

Autonomous is building real-world AI Products that run in production, not just experiments. As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying AI-powered features that directly ship into our products, especially on EdgeAI and on-prem systems.

This role is for engineers who want to own AI features end-to-end — from model development to deployment in real products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve AI/ML models that power Autonomous AI Products.
• Build end-to-end AI pipelines: data preparation, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Optimize models for real-world constraints such as latency, performance, and hardware efficiency.
• Deploy and maintain AI workloads on EdgeAI Servers and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate closely with product, system, and hardware teams to turn AI ideas into shipped features.
• Continuously iterate on models based on product usage and performance metrics.
• Contribute to code quality, documentation, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and model training workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python (or similar programming languages).
• Experience or strong interest in building production AI systems (not just academic projects).
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to learn fast in a product-driven environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with model deployment, inference optimization, or edge/on-prem AI systems.
• Exposure to AI products in robotics, vision, or real-time systems.
