Viedoc is looking for Automation Engineer who is enthusiastic and passionate about testing and finding innovative ways to speed up the test cycles to work in our beautiful office in HANOI, VIETNAM.

What Will You Do?

As an Automation QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web and API testing.
• Creating comprehensive test suites for functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Analyzing test results, identifying root causes, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
• Participating in code reviews and improving testing practices.
• Documenting test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
• Supporting team members and promoting a quality-first culture across the organization.
• Engaging in all stages of development—from discovery to deployment—while ensuring security and quality standards.
• Working in an Agile environment, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and continuous improvement processes.

• 5+ years in software QA, with at least 3 years in test automation.
• Strong programming skills in C# or Java.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience with API testing tools: Rest Assured, Postman, or similar.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
• Understanding of security testing principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to work across both manual and automated testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent in verbal and written English.
