The Opportunity

As a Solution Architect, you will be the key technical leader driving complex digital transformations. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, you will engage directly with clients, diagnose their business challenges, and architect scalable, high-performance, and feature-rich commerce and experience platforms. This role offers the chance to remain hands-on, dictate technical direction across a diverse landscape of modern technologies, and significantly influence our company's solution portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture and Design

• Platform Agnostic Strategy: Design and propose optimal technical solutions tailored to customer needs, utilizing the most appropriate platform(s) among SAP ERP/ SAP Commerce/Adobe Experience Platform/Shopify Plus, or custom Java/Microservices.
• Technical Roadmap: Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, highly available, and aligned with modern headless/API-first principles.
• Hands-on Engagement: Maintain hands-on technical proficiency by reviewing critical code components, setting up initial architecture blueprints, and solving complex integration challenges (e.g., integrating OMS, PIM, Payment Gateway, ERP systems).

2. Technical Leadership and Mentoring

• Team Enablement: Mentor and coach technical leads and developers across various stacks (Java, cloud services), establishing high standards for code quality, architectural patterns, and performance tuning.
• Technical Governance: Oversee implementation teams, ensuring adherence to defined architecture, best practices, and project timelines.
• Knowledge & Adoption: Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies (e.g., serverless, modern DevOps practices, cloud-native design) within the delivery teams.

3. Customer Engagement and Pre-Sales

• Business Translation: Serve as the technical expert during client discussions, effectively translating complex business requirements and customer pain points into clear, executable technical blueprints.
• Pre-Sales Leadership: Play a pivotal role in pre-sales activities, including presenting technical solutions, contributing to proposals (RFPs/RFIs), providing detailed effort estimates, and building trust with prospective clients.

Technical Expertise

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in software development and architecture, with at least 3 years operating as a dedicated Solution Architect in the E-commerce or ERP domain. 
• Mandatory Multi-Platform Experience: Proven, deep architectural knowledge and project experience with at least two of the following platforms SAP ERP/ SAP Commerce/Adobe Experience Platform/Shopify Plus, or custom Java/Microservices.
• Cloud Proficiency: Practical experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related cloud services for hosting and supporting E-commerce platforms.
• Adaptability: A demonstrated history of quickly learning and implementing new, diverse technologies and platforms.

Leadership and Communication

• Exceptional Client-Facing Skills: Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly and confidently to both technical teams and executive-level business stakeholders.
• Mentorship: Proven ability to inspire, mentor, and elevate the technical capabilities of development teams.
• Problem Solving: Superior analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to solving real-world business and technical challenges.
• Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required for client interaction and documentation.
