Position Summary

The Director of Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing Forix’s Vietnam delivery operations. This role ensures operational excellence across people, process, and performance while serving as a critical bridge between Vietnam-based teams and global leadership.

The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with strong people leadership, delivery management experience, and a deep understanding of agency or professional services environments. This individual will drive scalable operations, improve efficiency, and enable teams to deliver high-quality work consistently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations for Forix’s Vietnam office, ensuring alignment with global operational standards and business goals.
• Establish, optimize, and enforce operational processes across delivery, staffing, utilization, and quality assurance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, predictability, and scalability.

2. Delivery & Performance Management

• Partner with Delivery, Engineering, and Project Management leaders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality expectations.
• Monitor key operational metrics including utilization, margin, capacity planning, and delivery performance.
• Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery excellence.

3. People & Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop managers and team leads across Vietnam-based delivery teams.
• Support talent growth, performance management, and succession planning in collaboration with HR and leadership.
• Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.

4. Cross-Regional Collaboration

• Act as a primary operational liaison between Vietnam teams and U.S.-based leadership and account management teams.
• Ensure effective communication, alignment, and execution across time zones and cultural contexts.Support global initiatives, process rollouts, and organizational change management efforts.

5. Financial & Resource Management

• Partner with Finance and Leadership to support forecasting, budgeting, and cost management for Vietnam operations.
• Optimize staffing models and resource allocation to balance client needs, team health, and profitability.
• Contribute to strategic planning related to growth, scaling, and operational maturity.

1.Required

• 8+ years of experience in operations leadership, delivery management, or agency operations.
• Proven experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams in a professional services or technology environment.
• Strong understanding of delivery operations, utilization, and resource planning.
• Experience working with global or distributed teams, particularly U.S.–APAC collaboration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

2. Preferred

• Experience in digital agency, eCommerce, SaaS, or consulting environments.
• Prior experience working in or leading teams based in Vietnam.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery models and modern project management practices.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational KPIs.
