Job Purpose: QA Engineer’s responsibilities include designing and conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, meets the business needs and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements, specifications, and business use cases in order to create test cases and test scenarios.
• Liaise actively with System Analyst for any required clarification.
• Create detailed, well-structured test cases and checklists.
• Execute test cases to ensure feature enhancements are high quality.
• Identify, file and track defects to closure.
• Conduct functional, regression, sanity & non-functional testing (having experience with API & security testing is a plus).
• Work closely with various teams to ensure timely delivery for both testing and requirement analysis.
• Communicate on testing progress and quality status of the product.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members in best practices and testing methodologies.
• Review and refine QA processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Engage in risk assessment and prioritize test activities according to risk levels and product impact
• Support the team in analyzing test results, identifying trends, and making strategic quality improvement recommendations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in developing and executing test cases.
• Experience performing functional, integration, smoke, regression, usability and compatibility testing as well as assisting with user acceptance test.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software testing techniques and methodologies.
• Can identify ambiguous requirements and promote suggestions to implement the features or any logical issues.
• Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written.
• A self-initiated and proactive team player who can work with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience in leading QA projects or managing QA activities within a project.
• Ability to handle complex testing tasks independently and propose solutions to any identified issues.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.

• Must have Basic English communication.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
• More than 2 years of experience in software testing with different types of testing.
