Description :

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong QA fundamentals and practical automation skills to support smoke test coverage within our CI/CD pipeline. This role will primarily focus on executing automated smoke tests, monitoring test pipelines, maintaining scripts, and delivering test reports. The engineer will ensure stability and continuity of smoke test execution in collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain Jenkins pipeline scripts to integrate automated tests. 
• Monitor test runs, analyze results, and generate clear test reports for stakeholders. 
• Validate smoke test results, investigate failures, and raise issues in bug tracking tools. 
• Maintain and improve smoke test scripts (Python-based) as required. 
• Support test environment setup and ensure stability of test execution. 
• Document processes and test results for traceability and reporting.

What will you bring to the ride? 

• 3+ years of software testing experience (manual + automation) including scripting/configuration of test stages 
• Solid QA background in manual and automation testing. 
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins. Proficiency with Python for test scripting. 
• Hands-on experience developing or maintaining automated test scripts using frameworks like PyTest, Selenium, or Robot Framework. 
• Experience with version control (Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) 

Nice to have: 

• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Cloud platform integration with CI/CD (AWS, Azure, GCP). 
• An advanced degree in computer science, quality assurance, project management, or similar. 

Soft skill: 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify, debug, and resolve issues efficiently. 
• Attention to detail in test execution and reporting. 
• Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
