About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft AI and Power Platform Developer to spearhead the automation and intelligence initiatives for our clients. This is a critical role focused on leveraging the Power Platform and Azure AI Services to build intelligent agents, automate core business processes, and deliver actionable data visualisation through Power BI. The successful candidate will directly lead the development work of our digital transformation projects.

Scope of Work (Key Responsibilities):

• Intelligent Agent Development: Design and build bespoke agents to allow employees to query data and documents using natural language. Implement AI/ML components involving Azure AI Services and potentially custom MCP servers. Develop custom agents to define data consumed by other agents (e.g., emails, word documents).
• SharePoint and Document Governance: Design and implement solutions to enforce a standardised file structure and naming convention within SharePoint. Design and implement meta tagging strategies to satisfy client requirements and future AI processing needs. Ensure metadata strategies are reusable across projects.
• Power Automate (Workflow Automation): Develop sophisticated flows for mission-critical functions, such as peer content approval (Teams integration) and data quality automation. Integrate Power Automate flows into CoPilot agents.
• Power BI: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI Dashboards connecting directly to live data sources (3rd party APIs, Azure SQL/NoSQL DB) to provide real-time insights.
• Future State: Proactively propose solutions leveraging advanced technologies like Azure AI Search, Lakehouse, or Fabric to ensure a smooth transition to more advanced systems.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Communications: Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
• Artificial Intelligence: Strong understanding and practical experience with Azure AI Services for building custom agents or Copilot functionalities.
• Microsoft 365 / SharePoint: Deep expertise in SharePoint Online functionality, document management, site structure, and security concepts such as role-based permissions.
• Power Platform: 3+ years of professional experience with the core Power Platform stack, with a specific emphasis on Power Automate and Power BI.
• Business Intelligence: Proven expertise in Power BI development, including data modeling (DAX), report design, and connecting to various internal and external data sources.
• Data Integration: Experience connecting and manipulating data from SharePoint, Teams, and external APIs using the Power Platform for seamless workflow automation.
• General Development: Experience with data governance, security best practices within the Power Platform, and understanding of data flow concepts from source systems to visualization.
• Collaboration: Ability to manage regular collaboration with team members and stakeholders across different time zones effectively.
