Real-Time Infrastructure and High Performance 

• Design and operate real-time infrastructure for collaborative applications using technologies such as WebSockets, WebRTC, and CRDT synchronization. 
• Optimize low-latency systems and edge-computing solutions for global  performance. 
• Implement event-streaming architectures with Kafka and Azure Event Hubs to support millions of concurrent sessions. 
• Scale media-processing pipelines and optimize storage solutions for large volumes of data. 

Multicloud Enterprise Architecture 

• Design highly available, Azure-centered architectures with multicloud strategies across AWS and GCP. 
• Orchestrate complex microservice environments comprising hundreds of services 
• Implement API management and service-mesh solutions for browser and mobile clients. 

AI/ML Service Integration and Infrastructure 

• Integrate and, where appropriate, host external AI/ML services within our infrastructure. 
• Assess and build infrastructure capable of meeting GPU-computing requirements. 
• Design scalable interfaces between AI services and the core platform. 
• Optimize batch processing and resource management for ML workloads. 

Security and Data Protection 

• Implement Zero Trust security principles for sensitive user data, including images and personal information. 
• Develop end-to-end encryption concepts and access-control policies. 
• Ensure GDPR compliance and establish effective data-governance processes. 
• Conduct security audits and coordinate penetration tests. 

Observability and Site Reliability Engineering 

• Build comprehensive monitoring and tracing infrastructures using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and Application Insights. 
• Implement SRE practices based on SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets. 
• Develop chaos-engineering strategies to test and improve system resilience. 
• Automate incident response and performance optimization.

What we are looking for 

• An expert in scaling high-performance, distributed systems

Required experience 

• At least three years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, particularly AKS, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and API Management 
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration 
• Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, and message queuing 
• Strong knowledge of microservices, API design, and service-mesh architectures 
• Practical experience with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform and ARM/Bicep 
• Experience with GitOps workflows 

Technical environment 

• Cloud: Azure as our primary platform, alongside AWS and GCP 
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, and Linkerd 
• Real-time technologies: WebSockets, gRPC, GraphQL Subscriptions, and event streaming 
• Infrastructure and automation: Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, and Flux 
• Monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Jaeger, and Application Insights 
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions 

Nice to have 

• Experience with CRDT-based systems or collaboration platforms 
• Knowledge of media processing and CDN optimization 
• An understanding of MLOps and GPU infrastructure requirements 
• Experience integrating external AI/ML providers 
• Azure Solutions Architect, CKA, or CKS certification 
• Experience with high-traffic B2C platforms 
• Familiarity with deployment systems such as Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub 
• Experience designing and operating long-lived infrastructure for large-scale software projects
