We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to strengthen our development service in digital transformations. The Cloud Engineer shall support Niteco’s delivery/service teams with all aspects of cloud hosting service and infrastructure management in a software development project life cycle, monitoring and infrastructure-related tasks for our global clients. 

Infrastructure monitoring 

• Set up audit logs, monitoring, infrastructure automation, SSL certificates, DevOps-related tasks and systems to track the health, uptime and performance of infrastructure components. 
• Monitor network traffic, server uptime, storage utilization, and other relevant metrics. 
• Configure alerts and notifications for potential issues or anomalies. 
• Perform troubleshooting when downtime (P1) issue happens and resolution of monitoring alerts. 
• Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance and availability. 

Cloud Hosting Service: 

• Provision and configure cloud infrastructure based on client’s cloud policies, standards and requirements. 
• Deploy and manage virtual machines, containers, and other cloud resources. 
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform. 
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the cloud environment. 
• Setting up Backup, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery. 
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues. 

Infrastructure Management: 

• Regular maintenance and updates of operating systems, software, and patches to comply with client’s security standards. 
• Monitor resource utilization and performance metrics. 
• Capacity planning and scale resources as needed. 
• Manage user access controls and permissions. 
• Implement security best practices. 

Other tasks 

• Make sure all procedures, guidelines and best practices are documented. 
• Work closely with IT and Application Management Engineers to assist both internal and external clients.               
• Provide assistance to the other teams in the technical meetings with major clients on issues that relate to the expertise of Cloud/DevOps/Automation & Security. 
• Study and share new techniques, practice, tools and share for other team members. 
• Performing other tasks as required (such as ServiceNOW/security training and reporting).
