Outdoor Living Solutions

Simpson Strong-Tie Outdoor Living Solutions help homeowners and professionals design and build safe, strong, and beautiful outdoor structures like decks, pergolas, and fences. The product line includes decorative hardware, planning software, and project resources that simplify construction while ensuring code compliance.

YOU

As a Software Developer in Test, you’ll design and execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality. You’ll convert test cases into automation scripts using TestComplete (or similar), maintain the test framework, and help deliver a reliable, high-performing product. Optionally, you can also contribute to product development.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)

Test Design & Execution:

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end functional, regression, integration, performance, and automated tests.(60%)

Test Planning & Maintenance:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test plans for multiple software applications.(20%)

User Acceptance Testing:

• Perform ongoing manual user acceptance tests based on completed development stories, documenting and evaluating test results.(10%)

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Partner with business analysts and product owners to ensure a clear understanding of requirements for proper testing.(10%)
