For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for a Technical Consultant (L200) to work in Ho Chi Minh City. As such, you always will be working with the latest proven technologies in a state of the art office with an open environment. They offer a comprehensive range of services, including staffing and technology consulting, software engineering, and ongoing support. They fully embrace the Agile software engineering principles and use SCRUM to manage projects. Their multidisciplinary expertise enables them to deliver innovative solutions that help their partners achieve their goals.
The Technical Consultant (L200) is a customer-facing technical role that delivers in-depth solution engagements and assessments, including pilots and proofs-of-concept (POCs). The role translates customer requirements into practical technical approaches, applies architectural best practices, and tailors technical messaging to resonate with technical decision-makers. The Technical Consultant (L200) contributes to opportunity progress by keeping pipeline status accurate and conducting regular reviews with stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field required.
Certifications: Professional-level industry or vendor certifications required (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer Associate).
Experience: 3–5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., pre-sales, technical account management, consulting).
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications (on hire or within specified period): Foundational industry or Microsoft certifications preferred (L200).
Technical depth (advanced for role level): Demonstrates hands-on expertise to deliver pilots and POCs, troubleshoot issues, and explain technical trade-offs clearly.
Solution design & architecture (intermediate): Designs and delivers solutions for moderate-complexity projects; applies architectural best practices and refines designs to fit customer needs with minimal supervision.
Business acumen (intermediate): Understands customer business drivers and connects technical recommendations to measurable business outcomes.
Communication & influence (strong): Uses clear technical storytelling to tailor explanations to the audience, including technical decision-makers and cross-functional stakeholders.
