Bosch Car Multimedia team is looking for full-time C++ Software Engineers focusing on Graphics, Video processing working at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This project is for vehicle computer development for global OEM, for the purpose of autonomous driving. Handling a lot of camera and sensor is a challenge.
Our scope is at platform layer.
Your main task is to develop and maintain low level drivers and middleware for real-time video capture from camera modules like, Rear View Camera, Surround View Systems etc. You will be part of a global team working on designing and developing platform solutions for graphics and video capture for Linux, QNX RTOS and Android. Your colleges locates at Germany, India, China and Vietnam.
As a Graphics Engineer, your typical work activities include:
- Development and maintenance of software solutions for video capture for Linux, QNX and Android platform.
- Analysis of new customer requirements, design and implementation of efficient solution
- Defect analysis and resolution in Linux/QNX video capture pipeline.
- Co-ordination with global team and support customer request.
- Active participation in technical discussions with various stakeholders.
The job might be fit for you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience in Linux system programming and driver development
- Good programming and debugging skills (C, C++,POSIX, gdb, valgrind, etc)
- Knowledge of Linux V4L framework
- Working experience with serializer, de-serializer and sensor modules.
- Computer system architecture and Software development lifecycle process (Waterfall, Agile).
- Different levels of experiences are welcomed (junior to architect).
- Good English communication skills, be able to interact fluently with worldwide stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Video decoders/ G-Streamer (Multimedia)
- Working knowledge of git, github, gerrit, make, cmake, Yocto etc
- Knowledge of wayland, weston , GPU, Open GL , EGL
- Knowledge of RTOS and Hypervisor technology
- Design and modeling language (UML)
- Cross-platform development experience (ARM, x86)
- Basic knowledge of Agile framework, scrum, sprints.
- Basic development experience in QNX and Android platforms is a plus
