Job description

Overview of job

Main Purpose:

Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by users to Infrastucture Team.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.

Key accountabilities:

Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.

Job Requirement

Education:

Colleges Degree or higher.

Experience:

Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting.
Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks and network infrastructure is a plus.

Work related skills:

Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
Client service mindset.

Soft skills:

Good English communication skills.
Problem solving skills.
Teamwork spirit and ability of working individually.
