Job description

Overview of job

To lead, manage, and mentor a Vietnam based technology/engineering team
To lead and work on the design, architecture and building of enterprise systems
To lead and work on the building of tools, reports, and feeds to fulfil business requirements from the trading, operations and risk teams of the company
To be responsible for software quality, efficiency, cost and operational resiliency
To participate actively in cross-Company technology efforts to achieve various business and/or operational goals, as the need arises
To work closely with the various Heads of business lines and front office trading in the proper implementation and effective maintenance of various systems.
To lead the local Vietnam technology team and deliver outstanding technology applications/services to the business functions of Primrose.

Experience leading an agile team of software engineers in a cloud environment.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals
Software architecture and design
- Cloud infrastructure
- AWS or other major cloud platforms
Extensive Java experience
- Including Spring Boot ideally
Database design and management
- PostgreSQL ideally
Queue-based systems
- Kafka ideally
Running agile software development teams (Scrum)
- JIRA
Testing approach and implementation
- Unit/integration testing
- Functional testing
DevOps experience
- CI/CD pipeline development

At least 5 years of experience working in a technical role.
Bachelor’s or Msc from a renowned University in a related field
