Platform Architecture & Strategic Initiatives

• Lead platform initiatives in four pillars: CDN Optimization, Experience Platform, Engagement Platform, and Transcode System.
• Drive strategy for CDN routing decisions based on cost, network condition, and real-time performance.
• Define architecture and workflows for real-time A/B testing & feature flagging platforms used across product teams.
• Oversee development of a centralized engagement platform across push, email, chat... personalized by user segmentation.
• Collaborate with SRE to shift legacy transcoding infrastructure (e.g., Flussonic) to cutting-edge cloud-native solutions like BytePlus or self-hosted

Team Building & Development

• Recruit qualified personnel to meet organizational and technical requirements
• Build and mentor a multi-disciplinary team across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA
• Define, implement, and evaluate KPIs for direct reports to ensure alignment with team and company objectives

Cross-team Collaboration

• Coordinate with Product, Data, and Engineering stakeholders to ensure dynamic configurability without code-level intervention.
• Provide technical consultation and support to development teams on platform-related challenges, ensuring alignment with scalability, security, and performance standards.
• Prepare and present security and platform health reports to relevant stakeholders and senior management, offering insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
