Overview of job

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (experienced in Canvas + Graphic Design Editor + GSAP Animation, using ReactJS and TypeScript environment) to join product team at Obello to build next generation of AI-Powered Graphic Design Platform, who is passionate about building high-performance graphic design tools using modern frontend frameworks and canvas technologies. You will play a critical role in developing the core editor experience, working on dynamic animations, precision design tools, and real-time interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the core graphic design editor feature using ReactJS, Konva.js
• Build and optimize canvas rendering and animation timeline components for professional design workflows, and complex animations using GSAP
• Implement smart alignment, scaling, multi-layer interactions, and drag-drop features on canvas
• Create intuitive, smooth, real-time animations and transitions for content elements
• Work closely with backend and AI teams to integrate intelligent design suggestions and asset libraries
• Ensure the editor is highly performant, especially with complex templates and large asset files
• Collaborate with the design team to implement visually stunning and responsive animations.
• Optimize animations for performance and ensure smooth operation across various devices and browsers.
• Integrate audio and video elements within the application, ensuring synchronization and quality.
• Contribute to the development of design editor features, ensuring functionality and usability akin to platforms like Canva and Figma.
• Research and develop more advanced Graphic Design Editor Tool features
