Overview of job

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Science Manager to lead our cross-functional Data Science & AI team. You will be responsible for shaping our data-driven product strategy, building advanced machine learning models, deploying AI Assistants, and enabling real-time analytics and flexible reporting across our key verticals: Digital Banking, eWallet, SmartPOS, Payment Gateway, Insurance, and SME Platforms.

🔹 Leadership & Strategy

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, ML engineers, and data analysts.
• Drive the overall data and AI strategy in alignment with business goals and product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with C-level executives, Product, Engineering, and Business Units.

🔹 Data Platform & Architecture

• Oversee design of scalable, cloud-native data platforms (DWH, Lakehouse, Real-time streaming).
• Ensure strong data governance, MDM, privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, PDPD).
• Implement flexible analytics & self-service BI tools for internal teams and customers.

🔹 Machine Learning & AI

• Lead development of predictive models for credit scoring, fraud detection, recommendation engines, and personalization.
• Build and deploy AI Assistants for customer service, internal operations, and financial advisory.
• Monitor model performance, fairness, and accuracy at scale.

🔹 Product Domains

• Enable data-driven insights across Digital Banking, SmartPOS, eWallet, and SME platforms.
• Integrate analytics into Payment Gateways, Loan engines, Insurance platforms, and Merchant tools.
• Collaborate in shaping AI-first financial products.

🔹 Reporting & Analytics

• Develop flexible reporting systems (dashboarding, real-time KPIs, drill-downs).
• Drive adoption of tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase, Looker, or open-source alternatives
