Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Shopify apps
• 4+ years of back-end development experience, preferably in an agency environment
• Strong expertise with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks
• Experience with Shopify Polaris and embedded app architecture
• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and data security best practices
• Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including APIs, themes, templates, and custom app development
• Strong proficiency with Liquid, including an in-depth understanding of Shopify’s internal architecture and workflows

Technical Skills

• Front-end: React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind, Liquid
• Back-end: Node.js, Laravel
• APIs & Data: GraphQL, REST
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Shopify Technologies: Hydrogen, Oxygen, headless Shopify frameworks
• Familiarity with full-stack platforms and frameworks such as gadget.dev
• Experience with Shopify headless commerce implementations

Development & Collaboration

• Experience working in cross-functional teams with designers and engineers to prototype, validate, and deliver solutions
• Strong experience managing multiple GitHub repositories, workflows, and GitHub Actions in a team environment
• Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility and best practices
