Epsilo is seeking the position for Data Engineering are in charge of keeping a company's database available, secure and stable. You must constantly test the data that is coming from the database to ensure it is not corrupted. Most databases require constant updates to keep up ever-changing computer technologies. Database engineers integrate new products and software packages into the system, and seeing that the data produced is accurate. You may even train other employees in the organization on how to access a database and how to make the best use of its contents.
Addition, you may work as either applications or systems software developers, are generally employed by computer systems companies to design and monitor complex databases. You must make sure that a database is operational and provides valid and relevant data. An in-depth understanding of computer software, database technologies and programming is required to work as a database engineer.

Reporting to Product Manager, you will be responsible for
- Design, develop and deliver / implement data solutions to include: architecture design, prototyping of concepts to proof of concept, development of standards, design and development of test plans, code and module design, development and testing, data solution debugging, design and implementation of a solution that follows efficient design techniques and development that meets and exceeds the intent of the design of the data solution.
- Effectively manage day-to-day tasks / activities in coordination with a team of developers to effectively meet the deliverables and schedule of a data solution component within a larger application project.
- Lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary during design, development and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions.
- Support and maintain data and database systems to meet business delivery specifications and needs.

Your Skills and Experience
- 4+ years experience with database language.
- Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Experience working with and creating data architectures.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
