Summary of role
CIMB bank is an established global bank and recently has setup a new digital bank in Vietnam market. In CIMB Vietnam, we embrace Agile development methodology and have aggressive target to constantly deliver the most innovative digital banking products using the modern banking technology. We are looking for a Frontend Developer with passion to deliver challenging digital solutions.
A Solution Architect will involve in every design and development steps of building our digital banking platform, from product inception, creating prototyping, design inter-system flows, to oversee the platform development, testing, implementation, and deployment processes. This role requires working closely with delivery manager, and scrum teams to ensure successful and sound implementation of digital banking platform.
Responsibilities
- Understand business problem and translate to system design/architecture/flow
- Provide technology leadership and oversight on design, development and implementation of our digital banking platform.
- Deliver artifacts, technical analysis documents and architectural designs that meet business requirements; oversees design reviews and frameworks.
- Develops solutions to difficult technical problems encountered as part of system implementation, upgrades or support issues.
- Work closely with scrum teams to define inter-system communication flows and oversee the implementation among multiple teams ensure such flow is implemented correctly and with quality
- Work closely with scrum teams to ensure application design is robust, secure, maintainable, and scalable.
- Introduce application enginerring/system integration/security best practices to the scrum teams and ensure its adoption among the teams
- Proactive to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team

Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant areas
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in software engineering/lead/architect role
- Hands-on experience with Java, NodeJS, and some cross platform mobile development (using either React native or Flutter, etc..)
- At least 2-3 years working as solution architect with strong experience working with business user to understand business problem and translate to high level technical solution
- Must be a strong fullstack developer (either web or mobile app), with a minimum of 3-4 years of solid working experience as a fullstack developer.
- Strong experience in mobile application development building cross platform or native mobile app
- Strong experience writing or utilising RESTful API services and performance tuning for large scale applications
- Strong understanding of how to build secure web/mobile application or secure integration points with 3rd party API
- Strong understanding of application engineering/System integration/Security best practices
- Strong experience with RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Strong experience with Git, Maven, Gradle.
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure is an advantage
