JOB PURPOSE

• Design, develop and execute software solutions to address business issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine software requirements.
• Creating high-level product specifications and design documents.
• Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow
• Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
• Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
• Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
• Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.

• Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology or equivalent. 
• More than 3 years of experience working as Software Architect or similar role. 
• Over 5 years experience of working in software development
• Experience architecting, developing, and deploying modern architectural patterns/techniques (Microservices, DDD, TDD)
• Experience working on large-scale software projects
• Expertise in integration, application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Solid experience with AWS cloud stack
• Solid experience in Agile development environments
• Well-versed in writing structured, well-documented, maintainable, and clean code
• Experience in one or more programming languages, such as C# .NET, Java, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, NodeJS
• Experience in and good foundation of SQL and NoSQL databases, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Experience of distributed storage & messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Active, Kafka…)
• Experience with event-driven applications using queues, service bus and another related pattern
• Excellence in problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
