VINFAST is a Vietnamese manufacturer of electric cars and motorbikes. We’re seeking an experienced Functional Tester Engineer to build production-quality for system/ software level of powertrain system modules on Electric Vehicle.
This individual will be a seasoned engineer with experience working with all functions: Safety function and Non – Safety function also non-functional.
Objectives of this Role
• Primary responsibilities include developing feature design verification plans (if need), leading coordination of test activities, executing and reporting results to ensure features meet design requirements and customer expectations.
• Execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and/or discussions with Feature owners.
• Provide verbal and written test status updates to management and key Parties.
• Execute and troubleshoot test suites and generate appropriate documentation and test reports
• Participate in getting key stakeholders (System /Hardware/Software/Mechanical engineers, supplier etc.) involved to drive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with the development teams to ensure appropriate feature documentation is available.
• For System Level Test Engineer
o Responsible for System Integration and Integration Test to verify for System Requirement Specification (if need) or System Architecture design.
o Included: Safety / Non-Safety/ Non function / and Functional corresponding with design level
• For Software Level Test Engineer
o Responsible for Integration and Integration Test to verify Software safety requirement specification or Software architecture design
o Included: Safety / Non-Safety/ Non function / and Functional corresponding with design level

Education and Experience
• Experience (at least 5 years) in Embedded software test / Automotive test / IoT device test / Electrical and Electronic equipment test. Understanding Power Distribution Unit, Powertrain System, HV & LV auxiliaries.
• Solid experience in using log, CAN simulation tools (Vector Canoe). Good knowledge of Autosar.
• Hands on experience in full lifecycle development project, able to build test environment.
• Strong in test case writing from System Architecture Design & test execution.
• Experience in trace log and debugging via Lauterbach tool.
• Understanding about HIL (Hardware-in-the Loop) system, Chroma Load and Power Supply device.
• Good understanding of A-spice V-model process.
• ISTQB Foundation certification is an advantage
• Able to work effectively in pressured environment like Vingroup.
