Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive QC Lead / Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts across multiple web and mobile projects. You will be responsible for managing the QA team, establishing testing processes, mentoring junior QCs, and ensuring product quality aligns with business goals.
This is a strategic leadership position, suitable for candidates who aim to transition into a Project Manager role in the near future.

Responsibilities:

🔹 Team & Process Management

Lead and manage the daily operations of the QC/QA team (including Sr. and Jr. QCs).

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and support team members' career growth.

Set up and continuously improve testing strategies, workflows, and QC processes across projects.

Review and validate test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, reports).

🔹 Project Collaboration

Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Developers to understand project goals, scope, and timelines.

Analyze project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.

Ensure timely and accurate test execution, defect tracking, and issue resolution.

Communicate risks, blockers, and quality concerns to stakeholders in a clear and proactive manner.

🔹 Quality Ownership

Champion quality mindset and best practices across the team and organization.

Drive root cause analysis of critical defects and implement preventive measures.

Establish key QA metrics and regularly report test results and quality indicators.

🔹 Process Development

Define and maintain QC standards, guidelines, and documentation.

Introduce automation testing practices when needed (manual focus but automation-aware).

Support process audits and ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/QC Lead role.

Strong hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications.

Proven ability to manage QA teams, delegate tasks, and provide mentorship.

Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and risk management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English (for reports & team communication).

Experience working with tools like Jira, Asana, TestRail, or similar.

⭐ Nice-to-Have:

Experience with test automation frameworks is a plus.

Experience in defining and maintaining QA metrics (KPIs).

ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.

Familiarity with UI/UX testing practices and accessibility standards.
