About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst at Mid to Senior level to join our Development team and work on integration projects with major automotive OEMs and international stakeholders.

You will work closely with OEM customers, Product, Development and QA teams to understand, analyse and translate business and integration requirements into clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams.

This role requires a good understanding of API-based integrations, system workflows, testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), together with strong communication, presentation and demonstration skills.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with international OEM stakeholders and contribute to projects that integrate Titan DMS with external automotive systems.

The role also requires a willingness to adopt AI-assisted tools to improve the efficiency and quality of business analysis activities. You will use AI appropriately to support requirements analysis, identify gaps and ambiguities, create user stories and acceptance criteria, generate test scenarios and assist with documentation and analysis.

What You'll Do

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Work with OEM customers and internal stakeholders to understand, clarify and analyse business and integration requirements.
• Conduct workshops, meetings and discussions to identify business needs, processes, rules and integration requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, assumptions, risks and potential impacts of proposed changes.
• Ensure requirements are clear and understood by Development and QA teams.

API & Integration Analysis

• Analyse and document requirements for API and system-to-system integrations.
• Understand integration flows, data mapping, business rules, request and response structures, validation and error scenarios.
• Work with technical teams to clarify integration requirements and assess proposed solutions.
• Support investigation of integration issues and help determine expected behaviour.
• Work with Developers to ensure delivered integrations meet agreed requirements.

Analysis & Documentation

• Create and maintain functional documentation, including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and business rules.
• Keep requirements and documentation up to date throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyse existing functionality and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, development and testing.

Stakeholder & OEM Engagement

• Act as a liaison between OEM customers, Product, Development, QA and other stakeholders.
• Communicate requirements clearly to both business and technical audiences.
• Build effective working relationships with international customers and stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirement clarification and resolve ambiguity between stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Participate confidently in customer meetings and project discussions.

Testing & UAT

• Work closely with QA to ensure requirements are testable and acceptance criteria are clearly defined.
• Prepare and review test scenarios and test cases based on business and integration requirements.
• Participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with customers and stakeholders.
• Validate implemented solutions against documented requirements.
• Analyse UAT results and work with Development and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Support customer sign-off and production readiness.

Presentation & Demonstration

• Prepare and deliver presentations, requirement walkthroughs and product demonstrations to customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate completed functionality and explain how it addresses agreed requirements.
• Present business and integration concepts in a clear and understandable way.
• Support customer workshops and meetings with professional and confident communication.

Project Support & Delivery

• Support projects throughout the SDLC, from requirements gathering through development, testing, UAT and production release.
• Work closely with Product, Development and QA to identify and resolve delivery risks and dependencies.
• Provide ongoing support for deployed solutions, including troubleshooting and requirement clarification.
• Ensure changes to requirements are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Contribution & Knowledge Sharing

• Take ownership of assigned requirements and integration areas.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance to less experienced Business Analysts where appropriate.
• Contribute to improving BA practices, documentation standards, requirements quality and UAT processes.
• Build strong domain knowledge of Titan DMS and the automotive industry.

1 WORKING HOURS

• Working hours is flexible and the standard guideline is between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 1 hour break for lunch.
• Staff can start early and finish early to keep in sync with Australia working hours

2 LEAVES

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience working on software development projects.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Good understanding of business analysis and requirements management.
• Practical understanding of API requirements and system integrations.
• Experience preparing or reviewing test cases, test scenarios and UAT requirements.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with Developers and QA engineers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good documentation skills.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
• Confident English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate directly with international customers and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Preferred

• Experience with integration projects or API-based solutions.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON/XML, API documentation or API testing.
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence or Postman.
• Experience working with OEMs, automotive manufacturers, automotive dealerships or automotive software.
• Basic understanding of SQL or database concepts.
• Experience working with international customers or distributed development teams.
• Experience with ERP, DMS, accounting, retail POS or other workflow-based enterprise systems.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other Business Analysts.

What We Are Looking For

We are open to candidates across Mid to Senior level.

For a Mid-level candidate, we expect strong BA fundamentals, good technical understanding and the ability to independently manage requirements and UAT activities.

For a Senior-level candidate, we expect greater ownership of complex integration requirements, stronger customer-facing capability, and the ability to guide other BAs and contribute to improving BA practices.

Most importantly, the successful candidate should be comfortable working directly with international OEM stakeholders, discussing integration requirements with technical teams, supporting UAT, and confidently presenting and demonstrating solutions.
