Be responsible for server OS patch deployment as well as patching standards and processes to maintain server health across the enterprise environment.
Interface with the Security, Application, Infrastructure and ITSM teams to coordinate Windows/Linux/Unix patching deployments.
Create and maintain operational procedures as needed to ensure patching success rates and will be the main point of communication for security patching.
Interface with customers and management to conduct reviews and provide reporting on patching status and any trends seen to help improve the health of the environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 8+ years of systems engineering/administration experience in Microsoft Windows
2/ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016
3/ Knowledge of Windows Services like AD, DNS, IIS, DHCP and File Servers ->
4/ Hands-on experience to develop PowerShell scripting and administrate configuration management tools Ansible. Experienced with Puppet/Chef can be a big plus
Implements and maintain "Best in Class" approaches/practices for enterprise patch management and deployment
Analyzes trend data to identify potential patch-related issues and troubleshooting to implement any resolutions/improvements needed for proactive resolution
Communicates patch management process and procedures, working practices, and changes to internal teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Fluent English, at least B2

Nice to have

Experience of work in Servers and Workstation patching administrator
Working knowledge on Linux/Unix Operating Systems; Red Hat Linux versions 6/7/8 for a new software release, system upgrades, evaluates and installation OS patches and resolves post patches issue
Knowledge and good understanding in virtualization platforms VMware and Hyper-V
Performs architecture review, infrastructure design and builds, and maintenance and support activities for SCCM 2002/2010 and WSUS version 5/10 patching systems
Ensures overall service levels for server uptimes through patch management standards, enterprise images and driver packages
Raising the tickets and follow-up with vendors like Microsoft and Red Hat software whenever required and resolving issues by minimizing downtimes.
Provides technical support and consultation to teams and customers as needed
Carry out OS, application, and firmware upgrades as and when required
Identify performance bottleneck and mitigate them
Work on problem tickets, Identify root cause, review RCA documents
Maintains ticket queues for new patching or change requests
Coordinate with the team for updates/KT/Documentations/Tasks
