Job description
Umbraco is looking for Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) in Hanoi, Vietnam. The SRE is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of a company’s software systems and infrastructure. They work closely with development teams to design, implement, and maintain systems that can handle high traffic loads and are resilient to failures.
At Umbraco we host thousands of applications in the Azure cloud and your primary responsibility will be to ensure their performance and reliability.
The SRE monitors system performance, resolves issues proactively, automates deployment and testing processes, and improves system resilience through fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.

Your skills and experience
Develop and maintain a stable and a reliable website hosting platform in Azure using cloud native technologies. Implement & maintain monitoring solutions for customer web applications. Ensure continuous governance of our cloud environment. Continuously oversee our cloud environment cost and work together with other development teams to reduce the cloud bill. Respond to incidents and lead incident resolution efforts.
We do not expect you to do it all at once or to be an expert in every field. As a team player you will complement our team’s current expertise and help the SRE team move forward in fulfilling new responsibilities as we grow.
