Role Summary

• Modec is an industry-leading company with over 6,000 employees from 25 countries, undertaking multi-billion-dollar projects. As a member of our Digital and Analytics global team, you'll leverage cutting-edge technology to support these projects, deliver value to our client and drive transformative change across our business.
• You'll develop solutions to enhance automation and simulation in engineering processes for building Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units, making their design, construction, and operation more efficient. If you excel in math, enjoy pushing technological boundaries, and strive for efficiency, this job is for you.
• Our solutions include search engines, 3D simulations, digital twin technology, IoT, data engineering, and data analytics. You will also have the opportunity to work with advanced AI technologies such as computer vision and generative AI. This variety ensures you will constantly face new and exciting challenges!
• You'll report to Software Engineer Team Lead 

Responsibilities 

• Balance your responsibilities between engineering leadership—leading a team of up to 10 developers—and hands-on coding, dedicating approximately 60-80% of your time to actual coding.
• Candidates with exceptional engineering experience who do not wish to be in a managerial position may also apply, stating their intent clearly.
• Work with the Product Owner on product roadmap and release plan. 
• Promote a high-performance culture with emphasis on technical excellence, collaboration, and accountability. 
• Split and manage development tasks among team members effectively .
• Design robust, scalable, and secure architectures and write clean, high-quality, maintainable code. 
• Lead development activities, including code reviews, software testing, and debugging. 
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies while implementing DevOps best practices.

• Monthly wage: up to USD6000
• 13th month salary for every 12 months of employment
