Job Summary:

As a member of the CloudOps Database Engineering team, you will work closely with Katalon Platform product teams to architect, deploy, maintain, and support databases for Katalon’s multi‑tenant SaaS platform in a cloud‑hosted environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring database security, scalability, performance, and reliability for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases for a multi‑tenant SaaS platform, ensuring compliance with security, performance, resilience, and cost‑efficiency requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement database solutions for new and existing services, in alignment with Katalon database standards.
• Perform database tuning, optimization, and capacity planning to ensure high performance and stability.
• Monitor database systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and operational efficiency.
• Support release management activities in collaboration with Business, Application Development, and Technical teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Plan and execute major and minor database upgrades using strategies that minimize downtime.
