Principal QA will bring extensive QA and technical expertise to test our Data and Device Security (DDS) product and other business applications developed with the latest technologies from Microsoft and Java. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and executing functional and non-functional test cases; revising test plans include test strategy to cover the one or more areas of: UI, API, security, system performance, database testing, network/protocol analysis, and installation/configuration. In addition to increase the test coverage, the candidate will evaluate and adjust test activities.
Accountabilities Will Include:
- Define and validate use case based on the associated business and customer problems.
- Develop automated functional and performance tests.
- Execute manual and automated tests on Web-based client–server application.
- Identify and record descriptive defects then verify the fix.
- Create the project test plan including risk analysis, test strategy, and test scope.
- Review and evaluate the existing test plan of any features in the product.
- Review Product requirements/specifications and other technical documentation to ensure testability and completeness.
- Consult test approach and test strategy for any features in the product to improve test coverage.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Product Management and Support to analyze and resolve issues.

- 10 or more years of experience testing Enterprise class software in a Client/Server or Web environment with experience in Security, Performance, Database, API and Web testing
- 7+ years of experience with functional and performance test automation
- Solid test plan and test case writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding of SDLC and quality processes
- Solid knowledge of TSQL and database technologies.
- Intermediate Java programming skills
- Intermediate programming skills (Java, C#, or Python)
- Experience with GIT, VMWare, Selenium, and Jenkins
- Experience with JIRA
