The Grab Support team builds the platform that helps millions of passengers, driver-partners, and merchants when they need assistance. Our mission is to deeply understand user problems and deliver solutions that resolve them quickly, seamlessly, and at scale. We combine machine learning models that interpret user intent with automation flows capable of processing and resolving issues end-to-end. This involves everything from natural language understanding and model development to workflow orchestration and system integration across Grab's ecosystem.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to contribute to our customer-facing products used by millions of users across 8 countries. You will work across multiple backend service clusters and frontend stacks to ensure product quality. Your responsibilities include writing and executing automated tests, performing manual quality assurance checks when needed, troubleshooting software issues, and implementing automated testing strategies and tools. You will also own, track, and drive quality processes (e.g., postmortems, on-call) for the team.

You will be reporting to the Senior Software Engineering Manager based in Singapore and work onsite at Grab office, CMC Creative Space, D7, HCMC.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Provide functional and regression level testing for API, and Web Applications.
• Execute manual and automated functional and regression test cases and develop and maintain automated Test Scripts.
• Work with developers, product owners, test lead, engineers, and team members to identify areas and methods to help drive testing efficiencies and expand test coverage and increase product reliability.
• Provide test estimates, record, report defects to depict the status of the sprint and system stability.
