Job description

Overview of job

Design, write, and execute manual test cases for embedded systems and firmware.
Perform functional, regression, and system testing directly on embedded devices.
Collaborate closely with developers and hardware engineers to understand system behavior and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Document test results, report bugs clearly, and follow up on issue resolution.
Participate in test planning and contribute to improving testing processes.

Job Requirement

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing.
Strong ability to design and write test cases independently.
Hands-on experience testing on embedded devices (e.g., IoT, firmware, microcontrollers).
Familiarity with Linux environments and basic command-line operations.
Good understanding of embedded system behavior and constraints.
English communication skills: able to communicate effectively in a professional environment (speaking, reading, writing).

Nice to Have

Experience with API testing, data testing, or automotive embedded systems.
Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash) for test support.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of embedded development environments or debugging tools.
